Case Credit Union Card Transaction Dispute Terms and Conditions
By accepting this agreement, you consent and agree to the electronic submission of your dispute claim via our online banking or mobile app platform. Furthermore, you consent to receiving calls and/or emails from CASE Credit Union (referred to herein as "CASECU", "us", "we" or "our") to gather additional details to support your claim.
We must be notified no later than 60 days after the first statement containing disputed charges. If determined to be fraud, your maximum liability for losses to your account may be up to $50.00 if you have notified us within two (2) business days of discovery that your card was lost, stolen, or compromised. Failure to notify the credit union within two (2) business days may increase the Cardholder’s liability from $50 to $500. We also reserve the right to close the Debit Card or Credit Card or accounts associated with the fraudulent claim. If a false Debit Card (POS or Signature), ATM, or Credit Card dispute is made to CASE Credit Union, we may charge a fee of $25 per hour for research.
Additionally, you agree to give consent to us to release any information regarding your card and /or card account to any local, state and /or federal law enforcement agency so that the information can, if necessary, be used in the investigation and/or prosecution of any person(s) who may be responsible for fraud involving my card and/or card account. You agree to testify, declare, depose or certify to the truth of any or all of the information provided before any competent tribunal, officer or person; and you will cooperate fully in the prosecution of the person or persons responsible for the foregoing transactions.
By accepting this agreement, you swear this affidavit is true and understand that making a false sworn statement is subject to federal and/or state statutes and may be punishable by fines and/or by imprisonment. I understand that if I do not provide the required information or documentation; my dispute credit may be delayed. I also understand that additional information or documentation may be requested to process my claim.
Amendment. We may change this Agreement at any time. We may add new terms and conditions and we may delete or amend the existing terms and conditions. You will generally be provided advance notice of any change. If the change is favorable for you, we may make the change at any time without prior notification. If you do not agree with the change, you may discontinue using the Service. If you continue using the Service, your continued use will be acceptance to the agreement changes.
