What is a qualifying transaction?
Point of Sale transactions are included (at the merchant or online). Does not include ATM transactions.
What are the monthly requirements to receive the 5% APY on balances under $10,000?
In order to receive the 5% APY on balances up to $10,000, the following requirements must be met each month:
- Be enrolled in eStatements
- Receive ACH or direct deposit of $1,000 or more combined
- Make a minimum of 20 posted CASE Visa debit or credit card purchases

* $100 bonus available for new CASE Credit Union checking accounts only. To earn the $100 bonus, you must open a new eligible checking account and complete at least ten (10) qualifying debit card purchase transactions and make deposits totaling $500 or more within 60 days of account opening. Each qualifying transaction must be a minimum of $5.00 and post and clear the account within the first 60 days the account is open; pending transactions, ATM withdrawals, transfers, and fees do not count toward the required 10 qualifying transactions. Deposits that do not qualify include (but are not limited to): transfers from peer-to-peer payment apps (such as Venmo, PayPal, or Cash App) and transfers between CASE CU accounts. After you meet the activation requirements, the $100 bonus will be deposited into your checking account within 30 days, provided the account remains open and in good standing at the time of payout. Limit one bonus per member and per account. Bonus may be reported as interest on IRS Form 1099‑INT, and you are responsible for any applicable taxes.
